March saw really different levels of activity in the various Kitsilano submarkets. Sales of Kits condos priced under $430,000 were down a whopping 46% from March 2013 (did everyone go to Mexico because of the rain?! Ok. I admit I did, but only for a week.). Kitsilano real estate priced $430K to $618K was stable with no change in # of sales from 2013, and for properties priced $618K to $1,168,000 which is primarily townhomes and 1/2 duplexes, sales were up 21%. Kitsilano properties priced over $1,168,000 saw stable sales compared to March 2013.
