Unique Mount Pleasant condo sells for over asking.

Last week I highlighted a Mt. Pleasant condo at 330 East 7th offering a great opportunity for renovating. That assessment was shared by others as it quickly sold for more than the asking price! Buying a condo in original or dated condition is a great way to add value. I can advise you on good buildings (to ensure you're starting with 'good bones') and look for a unique feature that will especially set the condo apart when renovated. Layout is a really effective way to achieve that: maybe a corner suite, exceptional outdoor space or a great floor plan that isn't 'cookie cutter'. Another example was a recent Mount Pleasant condo sale was at 808 East 8th. That suite was also in original condition and again, quickly attracted buyers because of it's excellent layout and corner location in a well maintained building.
